Website:

The initial website was very hard to use, had many missing images and pages and did not include current products. We developed a website that was addressed these problems, and offered additional solutions.

The website we delivered is built on an e-commerce platform. Event Rentals wished to initially use the website as an online catalogue – we built a capability that allows it to be an online store when the business is ready to support this change.

Key features:

• The home page features latest products, an ad space (easily edited from the back end) and a moving slideshow (also easily edited by the business).
• A PDF catalogue is included for downloading to make it very easy for the customer to view all available product.
• We created an Enquiry form for each product and an extensive Enquiry for for event based enquiries.
• Product pages include a zoom of the main image, and can facilitate many additional product images.
• Product pages also feature a Related products section which highlights other products in each category.
• Social media – each product has a ‘Share This’ option which allows the visitor to share the product on their Facebook, Twitter, MySpace profile (and many more), or send to friend via email.
• Testimonials are featured in the sidebar – these are randomly loaded as each page opens, which means all testimonials are displayed at one time or another without the business having to manually rotate them.
• All pages include a link to the Enquiry form, promoting this feature and making it easy for the customer to enquire.

The logo we created has a modern, web 2.0 feel with round corners and flat colours. We completely moved away from the traditional book-keeping (and sometimes tired) aesthetic.
